Please come out and support Mountain Town Music on Saturday May 30th! Our good friends at OP Rockwell will be hosting our annual Jambalaya event starting at 6:00pm.
This year, we will be raising funds to purchase a new state of the art monitor system for our Canyons, Newpark and Deer Valley stages, to support our educational outreach programming including our new “Mountain Town Music House Band”, which consists of five students from Summit County, launch a new website – parkcitylivemusic.com which will promote ALL the live music in Summit County and to provide One Community Under A Groove throughout Summit County! Once again, we have over 200 musical performances programmed!
In 2015, our supporters will be more important than ever because we won’t be actively soliciting donations from our stages. We want to provide you with an evening of music rather than a concert interrupted by a fundraising pitch….it’s you, the Vibe Tribe, who will provide this community with live music 6 nights a week on 10 stages throughout Summit County.
It is our goal to raise $40,000 at the Jambalay so please come out, bring some friends, and help us provide Summit County with the sounds of music all year round.

Big Sam’s Funky Nation have established their presence on the forefront of the New Orleans music scene. Trombone powerhouse and band leader “Big Sam” Williams, formerly of the Dirty Dozen Brass Band, has been celebrated as “the top man on the slide trombone in the birthplace of jazz” by the San Francisco Chronicle and the band has been touted for consistently “bringing a straight raw party” by Jambase. 2010 has been a busy year for The Nation, with two European tours (France and Greece), a recurring role in the new HBO original series “Treme”, and a busy US touring schedule including festivals such as the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival, Bonnaroo Arts & Music Festival, South by Southwest, Doheney Blues Festival and Gathering of the Vibes. For 2011, BSFN does not intend to slow down. The momentum BSFN has recently accumulated will only continue to grow off of the successful release of their fourth and most prolific album to date, King Of The Party. Be on the lookout for BSFN’s masterful blend of a rock, with an improv-style associated with jazz and a horn-heavy front section that’s the hallmark of funk. The energy level is always high voltage when BSFN takes the stage.
